Each candidate is interviewed face to face. We check their residency status and eligibility to work in Australia, their qualifications and tickets, and check their work experience by discussion with their referees.
Before being employed by us, each candidate has to provide
the following:
- Evidence of a minimum of two years experience in
the relevant industry or trade;
- Two verifiable references from companies that the candidate
has previously worked for in Australia;
- Evidence of attendance at a WorkCover-approved
General Induction for construction work in New South Wales
(where appropriate);
- Own transport (as required);
- Current and valid drivers licence (as required);
- Current and valid tickets and certifications;
- Attendance at an ALS Induction
- Agreement to the ALS Worksite Policies and Rules.
